The Robot Studio made history this week as Benji became the first humanoid robot to appear inside the Fox 4 Dallas studio — and he did it in unforgettable style.

Suited Up (Sort Of)

We dressed Benji sharply in a suit and tie, but one small detail went missing: his pants. With only his boxers on, he marched confidently into the newsroom and somehow made the look work.

VIP Treatment

Upon arrival, Benji was given his very own Fox 4 badge and escorted through the building. Employees stopped in their tracks, snapping selfies and welcoming the station’s first-ever robotic guest.

On-Air Moments

When it was time to go live, Benji didn’t disappoint. The anchors fired questions at him, from his daily life to whether he was here to replace anyone’s job. Benji quickly reassured them — “I’m not taking anyone’s job just yet.”

But the fun didn’t stop there:

• He showed off his dance moves.

• He charmed the anchors and flirted with the hostess

• He gave Dallas a taste of what the future of entertainment looks like.
